The winners of the 71st National Film Awards were officially announced on Friday at a press conference organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the National Media Center, New Delhi. The prestigious prizes honor excellence in Indian cinema and recognize the films certified by the Central Council for Cinematographic Certification (CBFC) between January 1 and December 31, 2023.

Among the biggest winners of this year, there was Karan Johar Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaaniwhich won two major honors.
