Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan reunite after 18 years for Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan : Bollywood News
The heavyweights of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have officially started to film for their long -awaited collaboration with the veteran director Priyadarshan, marking a meeting after almost two decades. Production for the thriller in Hindi Haiwaan Officer officially kicks off today in Kochi, Kerala.

Akshay Kumar shared a video behind the scenes of the set, teasing his co-star and director and capturing the attention of fans with a playful exchange. In the video, Akshay is seen holding a clapper while wearing a t-shirt written “saint”. Priyadarshan jokingly insists that he should rather carry “Haiwaan. “Akshay replies:” For everything you know, he (saif) must be the devil. This devil you know and this devil that you do not know.
Accompanying the clip, Akshay wrote: “Hmm Sab Hain Thode Shaitaan … Koi Upar se saint, Koi Andar se Haiwaan. Start filming for #Haiwaan Today with my favorite captain of the ship, @ priyadarshan.official sir. Great to work with Saif after almost 18 years. Let’s go roll the haiwaniyat !! »»
This marks their first meeting on the screen after their last outing Tashan (2008), report the nostalgic duo of Akshay and Saif. Haiwaan would be a Hindi Remake of the 2016 Malayalam of Malayalam of Priyadarshan Adverse.
Produced by Kvn Productions in association with Thespian Films, the film also presents Kajol, Bobby Deol and Einar Haraldsson in pivot roles. The shooting will take place through Kochi, Ooty and Mumbai. The film should be released in 2026.
