The High Court of Allahabad rejected a plea on Wednesday against the next film by Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi Jolly LLB 3Bringing large relief to manufacturers. A division bench including judge Sangeeta Chandra and judge Brij Raj Singh said they found nothing reprehensible in the words, the trailer or the teaser of the song film. The court noted: “We do not see any material which justifies an interference. After examining the words of Bhai Vakeel HaiWe find nothing that could hinder the practice of the legal profession by real defenders. The court therefore rejected the request without leaving costs.
On August 20, a Pune court served opinions to actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi as part of their film Jolly LLB 3. The opinions intervened after the lawyer Wajid Khan Bidkar filed a complaint alleging that the ridiculous film The judicial system and the legal proceedings.
In his petition, Bidkar alleged that Jolly LLB 3 represents the legal profession in a negative light and plans the judiciary. He particularly opposed a scene in which the judges are called “Mamu”, a familiar slang term. The court ordered Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi to appear before him on September 28.
Earlier, in May 2024, the film was faced with another obstacle when Chandrabhan, president of the Ajmer district bar association, filed a complaint against manufacturers. He alleged that the franchise shows the Indian judicial power in bad taste.
In his complaint, Chandrabhan said that the film depicts lawyers and judges in an “inappropriate” way, which he described as “humorous and indecent”. He also asked the court to stop the shooting of Jolly LLB 3.
Chandrabhan, while speaking to Nbtsaid: “This decision was made by considering the first and second parts of Jolly LLB. It seems that filmmakers, directors and actors do not at all respect the dignity and prestige of the judiciary of the constitution of the country. The firing of Jolly LLB 3 takes place in the surrounding villages and areas, including the DRM office in Ajmer, which will continue for several days. Even during the shooting of this film, the actors of the film do not seem to be serious at all about the image, the prestige and the dignity of the judiciary, including the judges. »»
The first Jolly LLB The film was released in 2013, followed by its suite in 2017. While the original played Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla, the Suite saw Akshay Kumar entering the main role alongside Huma Qureshi.
The third episode, Jolly LLB 3is produced by Star Studio18 and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film has a solid overall distribution with Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Sarabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao and Gajraj Rao.
