Ange Postecoglou Hopeful Over Dejan Kulusevski Injury Ahead Of Tottenham’s Europa League Final

Angel Postcoglou is confident Dejan Kuluski will be able to the final of the Europa League after the striker was injured during the 2-0 defeat of Tottenham against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Ebelechi Eze struck twice for the FA Cup finalists at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to leave the PostCoglou team in 17th place in the Premier League. Tottenham reserved a final of the Europa League with Manchester United on May 21 after having sealed a global 5-1 victory against Bodo / Glimt on Thursday.

But their miserable domestic form continued as they slipped into a defeat of the 20th League this season.

He marked the worst total defeats of Tottenham in the Premier League region after losing two games twice in the 1993-94 and 2003 campaigns.

To add to the problems of the postcoglou under fire, Kulusvski had to be replaced after 19 minutes.

But Postcoglou provided a positive update on the Swedish international after losing Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison to end -of -season injuries last week.

“The medical team is not too concerned about him, more blows than anything else, so we hope that he should go well,” said postcoglou.

“It is not useful when you lose another player, it is the fine line that we are trying to navigate at the moment. It aside, it was a disappointing performance and far from the level it should be.

“The guys had the opportunity today to put their name forward and put pressure on the guys who played the other evening. Just to say that there was no convincing evidence of this.

“This is what I try to push with these guys, that sometimes in football, you just have to seize the opportunities there. They will never be perfect.

“We have made eight changes, but there is an opportunity there and you just have to take it when it is introduced to you and I am disappointed that no longer will advance you today.”

Postcoglou decided not to bring Brennan Johnson, Richarlison and Dominic Solanke after the second stage of the semi-final in Bodo / Glimt.

He also kept Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven on the bench, effectively offering victory to the palace to keep his stars fresh for the final in Bilbao.

“I understand and people hit the drum of this record with defeats, but if people do not see, there is a correlation between the two,” he said.

“This is not exactly the Pythagoras’ theorem. It is quite simple to understand that we would have had much better results if we did not have to sail on this subject. So, either you understand or that you do not fight and we fight over the head, I understand.”
