Director Anurag Basu finally shared a long -awaited update on his next unit film with Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela. While promoting his film recently released Metro in DinoBasu spoke of the progression of his next project, which has already aroused the curiosity of fans.

Addressing News18 Showsha, Basu said: “Half is done, half remains. The shooting will start very soon, and the film will be finished in a month. We will soon announce the title and the release date.
The film, which would be a romantic musical in the iconic style Aashiqui Films, marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, the latter making his debut in Hindi. The pairing of these two young stars has already generated excitement among fans, especially after the drop in the film’s announcement video earlier this year. The video was supported by the melody of a beautiful unexpected from the chartbuster of the 90s ‘You hi aashiqui hai’adding to the nostalgic appeal of the project.
Although many on the scenario and other details are always under the Wraps, fans can expect an official title and the announcement of the release date soon. With the project that should end quickly, all eyes are now on how Anurag Basu will create this musical love story.
Meanwhile, Basu is busy promoting his latest Metro film in Dino, a spiritual suite of his classic cult Life in a metro. The film, which was released in theaters on July 4, has a stellar cast, notably Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi and Konkona Sen Sharma.
