Teams from the Bombs (BDS) and dog team elimination team, as well as Delhi police teams, rushed to the Arun Jaitley stadium after the Delhi and the District Cricket Association (DDCA) received a threat of bomb that turned out to be a hoax, said a manager. “We received a threat from bomb by email to the DDCA. We immediately transferred him to the Delhi police. The Delhi police team came and inspected the whole place. Nothing was found,” DDCA Sharma, PTI.
Delhi police sources have said that several teams were immediately rushed to the stadium and that the location had been carefully checked.
“Nothing suspicious was found. In addition, we have intensified security in and around the stadium,” said the source.
