An exhibition called Big Cine Expo takes place each year when theater owners, design consultants, equipment manufacturers, systems integrators, project management professionals, industry stakeholders, etc., meet to celebrate the cinema and the exhibition sector. The exhibition has often been in the news, often because filmmakers use this platform to present exclusive previews of their films. This year will be no exception. For the 8th edition of the Big Cine Expo, which will be held in Chennai on August 19 and August 20, 2025, the participants will have the chance to check the assets of the next three fascinating films.
Breaking: Anurag Kashyap, Ranjan Singh to detect exclusive images of Nishaanchi, Kennedy, Little Thomas at Big Cine Expo 2025, Chennai
On the first day of the exhibition, Anurag Kashyap and producer Ranjan Singh will chair the “presentation of the studio” session. They will start by unveiling the promotion of their next film, Nishaanchi. It is produced by Anurag Kashyap, produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh, supported by Jar Pictures and Flip Films and has Amazon MGM Studios India as a studio partner. The film marks the beginnings of Balasaheb Thackeray Aaishvary Thackeray’s grandson and also features Monika Pawar, Vineet Kumar Singh, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub and others.
Then Anurag will promote the promotion of KennedyHis acclaimed film that has long been waiting for its release. With Anurag presenting KennedyThe assets of, there was buzz that he will also announce his release date during this event. The film features Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone and is produced by Ranjan Singh and Kabir Ahuja. He is supported by Zee Studios, Good Bad Films and Flip Films.
Finally, Anurag and Ranjan will present a promo to the acclaimed film Little thomasWith Rasika Dugal and Gulshan Devaiah. It is directed by Kaushal Oza and produced by Ranjan Singh, Anurag Kashyap, Anushka Shah, Charu Oza, Rajnikant Oza and Kabir Ahuja.
According to the Big Cine Expo Tradition, to prevent the images from being disclosed, participants will be invited to deposit their mobile phones outside the screening area, or the organization team will ensure that no one records or does not click on photos or videos of the projection.
The same day at Big Cine Expo, Denzil Dias – VP and Managing Director – India Theatrical, Warner Bros. Discovery, will also show exciting glimpse of the coming films of Warner Bros and Universal Studios. Even for this session, recording will not be strictly authorized.
This is not the first time that the Big Cine Expo will present an exclusive overview of an upcoming film. In 2023, Boney Kapoor showed some scenes from his acclaimed film Maidaan (2024) In 2022, fascinating scenes from the Ranbir Kapoor-Aalia Bhatt Starrer Brahmastre (2022) were shown to participants. Last year, a prolonged trailer for five minutes from Varun Dhawan Baby John (2024) was shown by Atlee and Murad Khetani. Bollywood Hungama was present on occasion and he obtained a rocking response. Interestingly, Varun Dhawan also made a video call to Atlee, after the revealing of the assets, and thanked the exhibition community for their support.
