The highly anticipated war drama of Bollywood Ikkis Now has an release date! Maddock Films by Dinesh Vijan officially announced that the film will be released on the cinemas on Thursday October 2, 2025, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday known for its strong box office openings.

Directed by the prime national filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis marks the return of the acclaimed director after the success of Badlapur Under the Maddock banner. The film brings together a powerful set – the veteran legend Dharmendra, the rising star Agastya Nanda (grandson of Megastar Amicitabh Bachchan) and the actor cheered by criticism Jaideep Ahlawat.
Ikkis is based on the extraordinary real story of the second lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, a winner of Param Vir Chakra (PVC) who showed unequaled courage and made the ultimate sacrifice during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The film promises to mix the emotional depth, patriotic fervor and captivating narration-the characteristics of the unique narrative style of Raghavan.
This is the second major film by Agastya Nanda after her beginnings, and Ikkis Positions it in a difficult and emotional role that could consolidate its place in the talent of the new generation of Bollywood. For Dharmendra, the film marks a return to intense drama, while the inclusion of Jaideep Ahlawat refers to a layer performance, possibly commander.
Supported by Maddock Films, Ikkis is already presented as one of the most anticipated films of 2025, both for its subject and for the collaboration of some of the best talents in the industry.
Interesting fact, by choosing this release date, Ikkis will compete in the box office with the Pan-Indian film by Rishab Shetty Kantara: Chapter 1which is a prequel to its surprise success in 2022 Kantara.
