Prime Video has now unveiled the trailer for the spine of Chhorii 2, The long -awaited suite of his original horror film of 2021, Chorii. Expanding the twisted world of its predecessor, which was celebrated for its narration in suspension deeply rooted in folklore, this new chapter plunges even more into folk horror, the supernatural terror and the unbreakable will of a mother fighting against forces beyond understanding. A T-SERIE series, Abundantia Entertainment, Psych and Tamarisk Lane Production, the horror film is directed by Vishal Furia, and it brings back Nushrrratt Bharuccha as Sakshi, joined by Soha Ali Khan in a Pivot role, next to a casting of agriculture with Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Gobby, Pallavi Kuldeper, Kulavid, Kulay, Kulavi, Kulave, Kuldeep, Kulap, Kulavi, Kalavid, Kuldeep, Kulavi Sareen and Hardika Sharma. Chhorii 2 should be presented at first exclusively on Video Prime in India and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on April 11, 2025.

Located in the unexplored field of underground caves, the trailer for Chhorii 2 Rattie viewers in the obsessive world of sakshi, now even darker, more deadly and more perilous. Opanity rituals, ghostly figures and disturbing folklore reinforce a thick atmosphere of terror as she confronts malicious supernatural forces to protect her daughter, Ishani. Soha Ali Khan’s mysterious “Daasi ma” character is only adding to tension. Under fears, the trailer reveals a story of emotional survival, an inflexible struggle of a mother against evil, promising a scary and more intense chapter filled with deeper fears and unexpected twists and turns.
Speaking of returning to the world of Sakshi, Nushrrratt Bharuccha shared: “Returning as a sakshi in Chhorii 2 was one of the most intense but enriching experiences in my career. After 7 years of tirelessly protecting her child, the deepest fear of sakshi is realized, which adds a whole new level of emotion and intensity to the story. The horror in this episode seems darker, more powerful and very real because it draws from the worst mother’s nightmare. Vishal has masterfully woven frightening moments with raw emotions making history a captivating mixture of survival, love and the lengths that a mother will protect her child. “”
Soha Ali Khan, who joins the Chorii franchise, added: “Joining the talented distribution of Chhorii 2 And getting into such a convincing role was a new exciting challenge for me. What attracted me to the film was how he mixes disturbing atmospheric horror with a folklore that feels so rooted in our culture. My character is bunk – there is a threat but also a mystery.
