Captain of Rajasthan Royals, Captain Riyan Parag, was sentenced to a fine of Rs 12 Lakh for maintaining a slow overestimation in the victory of his team’s six points against the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League match in Guwahati. RR displayed 182/9, then restricted the CSK at 176/6, with Parag leading his team to his first victory of the season at the Cricket Barsapara stadium in front of a cleaning audience. “As was the first offense of the season of his team under article 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct, which concerns minimum offenses on the rate, Parag was sentenced to a fine of 12 Lakhs INR,” IPL said in a statement.
RR, who lost his opening match of the Hyderabad tournament against Sunrisers, will then face the kings of Punjab in Mullanpur on April 5.
