Dhanush slams AI-edited Raanjhanaa re-release: “This isn’t the film I made” : Bollywood News
In a shocking event of events, the reissue of the romantic drama 2013 Raanjhanaa aroused a generalized indicator after the peak of the film was modified using artificial intelligence (AI) – without the consent of the main actor Dhanush or the director Aanand L Rai. By taking to X (formerly Twitter), Dhanush did not chop the words in his declaration: “The reissue of Raanjhanaa with a culmination point in I completely disturbed me. This alternative end has stripped the film of his soul… It is not the film that I started 12 years ago. ” He also called for stricter regulations to prevent similar changes in the future. “The use of AL to modify films or content is a precedent deeply preliminary both for art and artists. He threatens the integrity of the narration and the heritage of cinema. I sincerely hope that stricter regulations are implemented to prevent such practices in the future, “he added.

The original end of Raanjhanaa Was greeted for his heartbreaking realism – Kundan (Dhanush), bloody and dying, does not answer while Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) rocks her lifeless face. The moment was a raw representation of unsatisfied sacrifice and love, cementing the cult status of the film. In striking contrast, the new version shows Kundan surviving his injuries, waking up in the hospital to smile and optimistic music. Fans were quick to slam the new end, calling it “a betrayal”, “deaf” and “an insult to the original story”.
