Prime Video officially locked itself on September 12 as the first date of its next original Hindi series, Do You Wanna Standard. The light comedy drama features Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty in main roles and marks another collaboration between privileged video and Dharmatic entertainment. The series will be available exclusively from the public in India and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Woes You Wanna Partner follows the original and sincere journey of Shikha and Anahita (played by Tamannaah and Diana), two best animated friends who decided to launch their own alcohol start-up. In the lively context of urban India, the series highlights their struggle to enter a craft beer industry dominated by men. As they question conventions, comply with the rules and make their way through eccentric encounters, the story captures both chaos and triumphs of female ambition, served with humor, heat and a lot of jugaad.
Sharing the vision of the platform for the series, Nikhil Madhok, director and chief of the originals, Prime Video India, said: “Do You Wanna Standard is a daring story and animated by ambition, friendship and jostling – was through the objective of two women rewriting the rules in an industry dominated by men. Our long -standing collaboration with Dharmatic Entertainment coherent stories that have Blend Heart With Humor with Humor, and this series is an exception. Producer Karan Johar described the project as “daring, dynamic and shamelessly fun – a story that captures the grain, the heart and the bustle of a new generation of entrepreneurs”. He added that the series is rooted in the mind of India jugaad and reflects the chaotic world but inspiring from unconventional entrepreneurship.
Apoorva Mehta, also producer, praised the cast of the whole for their authentic performance, while Somen Mishra, executive producer, underlined the celebration of ambition and female friendship, calling it both “the leak of pioneer and refreshing”.
Wanned You Wanna Partner has an impressive range of talents with Jaaved Jaafery, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sofi Motiwala and Rannvijay Singha joining the slopes. The series is written by Nandini Gupta, Mithun Gongopadhyay and Aarsh Vora, and led by Collin d’u Cunha and Kumar, with Gongopadhyay and Nishant Nayak serving as creators.
Produced under Dharmatic Entertainment by Karan Johar, Adar Ponawalla and Apoorva Mehta, want to associate promises to offer a refreshing vision of female ambition and friendship when presented on September 12 on Prime Video.
