The next action thriller Gunmaaster G9With Emraan Hashmi and Genelia Deshmukh, met a setback before the shooting could begin. The shooting, initially planned to start in mid-July in a village near Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, has been postponed due to high precipitations and unfavorable weather conditions in northern India.

According to a midday report, the director Aditya Datta confirmed the delay, citing security problems as the main reason for stopping the calendar. “The situation in northern India, in particular Uttarakhand and even Delhi, was quite serious. Although our team was impatient to advance, for me, the security of my crew comes first. We are dealing with real locations, not decorations, and the risk factor becomes too high in such a time, “he said.
The team has now pushed filming in September, hoping for a clearer sky and improving the conditions of the soil. “We prefer to wait and shoot with a complete intensity once the sky is clear,” added Dattt.
Producer Deepak Mukut echoes the feeling, noting the logistical challenges that the weather has posed. “We have all seen how the rains have wreaked havoc, causing road closings, floods and landslides. It’s not the right time to shoot. We made this decision unanimously. ”
The film, which generated an early buzz to bring together Emraan Hashmi with the music composer Hiesh Reshammiya – known for having delivered several successes in the 2000s – will take up the preparations closer to the new calendar in September.
