Animator Pakistan announced on Wednesday a team of 15 members for the qualifying of the Women’s Women’s World Cup of the ICC, with the versatile Pace, Fatima Sana, which led Pakistan during the ICC Women’s Women’s World Cup last year, continuing to lead the team at the 50 -team event. LCCA in Lahore, Pakistan, are among the six nations in the running for the two remaining places in the 13th edition of the World Cup 50 later this year in India.
Shawaal Zulfiqar returns to the national side after suffering from a shoulder injury during the visit to New Zealand in December 2023. The versatile Bowling Nida Dar is a major name for the team, having been among the 19 players who were called in the training camp before the qualification tournament.
The qualifier ICC with six teams, which includes Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand and the Antilles alongside the hosts of Pakistan, will present a format around the League. Each team will play against the other once and the two best teams will qualify by the Cricket World Cup in India.
Stade Gaddafi and LCCA de Lahore will host 15 games from the event, Pakistan playing Ireland in the opening match of the competition at the Gaddafi stadium.
On April 11, Pakistan will face Scotland at the Ground LCCA in a day match, while the hosts will face the Antilles in a day match on April 14 at the Gaddafi stadium.
Pakistan will face Thailand in its fourth game of the event scheduled for April 17 in a day match in Stade Gaddafi, while their last stage game will be against Bangladesh on April 19 at the Ground Lcca, which will be a day match.
