FIFA Announces USD 1 Billion Prize Money For Club World Cup 2025

FIFA has confirmed the distribution model for its new club competition which includes prices of $ 1 billion for the 32 participating clubs, as well as a substantial and revolutionary global solidarity model. The tournament winner can earn up to 125 million USD. The teams participating in the group phase will earn 2 million USD for each victory and 1 million USD for a draw, in the six group games. While clubs go to direct elimination towers, financial awards are increasing considerably, with the 16 year olds earning additional USD 7.5 million, the quarter-finals adding USD 13.125 million, the semi-finals contributing to USD 21 million and the finalist receiving additional USD 30 million. The tournament winner will receive an impressive 40 million USD.
“The FIFA Club World Cup distribution model reflects the pinnacle of club football and represents the biggest price for a football tournament including a group phase of seven games and playoffs with a potential payment of USD 125 million planned for the winners,” said FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
The new format of the FIFA club World Cup will adorn the world scene in June and July 2025, when 32 of the largest teams in the United States for the inaugural edition.
This truly global event will bring together the most successful club teams of each of the six international confederations: AFC, CAF, Concacaf, Conmebol, OFC and UEFA.
“In addition to the money price for the participating teams, there is an unprecedented solidarity investment program where we have an additional $ 250 million target for club football around the world.
