The wait is over! Emraan Hashmi is ready to come back with the long -awaited suite of his classic cult Awarapan. Confirmation went through an exciting video version of manufacturers, leaving the fans delighted with the resurrection of the emblematic character of Hashmi.

Awarapan 2 Officially announced
The announcement video masterfully revisits the story of Awarapan (2007), reminding viewers the captivating story and the emotional depth that made the original film a favorite among the fans. The video ends with the haunting scene where the character of Hashmi is turned, only to pass at a dramatic moment when his eyes suddenly open – the insignificant of his return. Accompanied by the words “The Voyage continues”, the video confirms that Awarapan 2 is underway and is planned for a release of April 3, 2026.
What we know so far
Produced by Vishesh Films, the scenario of the suite remains under the wraps, but this announcement comes a few weeks after Emraan Hashmi has teased fans with a cryptic publication on social networks with elements of Awarapan. The position sparked immense speculation, and now, with this confirmation, the excitement has skyrocketed.
The Teaser video also presents the moving track ‘Toh phir aao ‘ Playing in the background, instantly transporting fans to the emotionally loaded atmosphere of the first film. A sequence showing Hashmi characters describing pigeons without peppers – reminiscent of a pivotal moment in the original – fueled the anticipation on the continuation of the film.
Awarapan: A cult favorite
