After the acclaimed by criticism Ela Vezha PonchiraShahi Kabir returns to the staging with RequirementHis next next project Service officerthat he wrote. He is also known to write Nayattuwhich earned him the national prize for the best scenario, and Joseph. Requirement is produced by Vineet Jain de Junglee Pictures – a subsidiary of Times Group – and Festivals cinemas, supported by Ratheesh Ambat, Ranjith EVM and Jojo Jose. Co-produced by Amrita Pandey, CEO of Junglee Pictures, the film marks the first production of Junglee Pictures in the Malayalam film industry.
The film presents a talented overall distribution including Sudhi Koppa, Arun Cherkavil, Crisha Kurup, Nandanunni and digital popular stars Lakshmi Menon and Baby Nandutti.
The production team includes Mahesh Madhavan (cinematography), Anil Johnson (composer), Dileep Nath (Production designer), Praveen Mangalath (editor), Sinoy Joseph (Sound Mixing), Arun Asok – Sonu KP (Sync Sound Design. Ranganathan Iyer (Supervisor producer), Shabeer Malavattath (Production Controller) Davisvishak Sanalkumar (costume design), Ronex Xavier (makeup) and Abhilash Mullasry (photography Stills).
With the writer-director Shahi Kabir at the helm, a solid casting and a renowned studio that makes his debut in Malayalam, Requirement should be released in cinemas on June 13.
