For the second time in less than a month, Kapil Sharma coffee in Surrey, Canada has been targeted in a shooting, intensifying fears of gang -related violence. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at the popular Kap’s Café, located at 85 avenue and Scott Road, leaving the window riddled with ball holes and the surrounding neighborhood.

The police arrived to find several damaged windows and a broken glass scattered on the sidewalk. The preliminary observations suggest that at least six bullets have pierced the facade of the coffee, corresponding to the aggressive nature of the previous attack. The authorities quickly sealed a block around the site while the emergency teams began their investigation.
Local residents have described suddenly woken up by the sound of fast shots, followed by a wave of police sirens sweeping the area. The disturbance occurred around 4:35 am, surprising many of those who always remembered the first incident of the same cafe in early July. This initial shooting had taken place a few days after Kap coffee opened its doors, with the staff still inside the building at the time. Although no injury was reported then, the investigators discovered no less than 10 ball holes in the glass panels and a completely broken window.
Thursday’s shooting resulted in strange parallels with the previous incident, the two bearing the characteristics of targeted intimidation. Food speculations, two notorious gangs – Gurpreet Singh alias Goldy Dhillon’s Group and the Gang Lawrence Bishnoi – each claimed responsibility in separate publications on social networks. An alleged video circulating online allegedly captures the sound of at least 25 shots, accompanied by a threatening message warning of more action, perhaps in Mumbai, if their “calls” remain unanswered.
The application of Canadian law collaborates with Indian security agencies, including Mumbai police, to investigate the cross -border implications for these threats. The possibility that violence is linked to the rivalry of gangs or attempted extortion has not been excluded.
Despite the alarming incidents, the Kap coffee management has reiterated its commitment to remain open and to promote a safe space for its customers. In a press release, the coffee has reaffirmed its position against intimidation, promising to remain a place of heat and community.
With two cheeky shots in rapid succession and threats of gangs extending beyond Canadian borders, the case has now become an international security problem. The authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as residents of Surrey – and fans of Kapil Sharma – await answers.
