In the midst of speculation surrounding the delay of Kartik Aaryan and the Romantic Musical Unit of Sreeleela, the director Anurag Basu advanced to set the record straight. The reports recently claimed that the release of the film was being postponed due to thematic similarities with SaiyaaraAnother romantic musical which was exceptionally well at the box office.

However, addressing India today, Anurag Basu rejected these affirmations and said that the delay had nothing to do with Saiyaararecent success. He recognized the postponement but awarded it to schedules which overlap between him and the main actor of the film Kartik Aaryan.
“Since the two films present performers as central characters, we knew that the comparisons would be drawn. But the two films are completely different from each other,” said the filmmaker. Speak further about the actor’s obstacle You main meri tera, hand tera you meri Schedule with Ananya Panday, Basu added: “Kartik was busy with Karan Johar’s film, and I was also busy by Metro (metro .. in dino)release. We will soon go to our next calendar and we will soon aim to wrap the film, “he added.
The buzz around the star of Kartik-Seeleela has been strong since the announcement of the project. The film, which marks the first collaboration between the two rising stars, is described as a moving love story and motivated by music – a genus Anurag Basu is known to manage with emotional finesse.
