Kartik Aaryan’s team issues clarification after FWICE sends notice over his alleged association with Pakistani organized event : Bollywood News
The Federation of Employees of India in Western India (FWICE) sent an official letter to actor Kartik Aaryan, raising concerns about his alleged association with an event that would have been organized by individuals from Pakistan. The letter cites a violation of the directives issued by FWICE and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which discourage participation in events involving Pakistani organizers due to tense diplomatic relations.

In their communication, FWICE stressed that the film industry must refrain from any commitment which could indirectly support or legitimize transfrontular participation involving Pakistani entities. The letter serves as caution in Aaryan and reiterates the previously declared post of the Federation, advising all Indian artists to avoid any professional or promotional involvement with events or organizers based in Pakistan.
The controversy stems from promotional material for an next international event that featured the name and image of Kartik Aaryan, suggesting his participation. However, in response to the letter from FWICE and promotions of events in circulation, the actor’s team quickly published an official declaration denying any involvement.
“Kartik Aaryan is not associated with this event in any title whatsoever. He has never made an official announcement to participate in this event. We contacted the organizers and asked to delete all the promotional documents featuring his name and his image,” said his team’s declaration.
FWICE has taken into account the clarification, but has maintained its position on the strict compliance with national directives and industrial level. The Federation also warned the organizers of the event against the use of the names of Indian celebrities without consent, the deceptive and potentially damaging appellant.
The situation is closely monitored by industry organizations to prevent other cases from such false declarations.
