A fan invaded the field to meet the stand-in skipper of Rajasthan Royals Riyan Parag in the 2025 IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Guwahati on Wednesday. It was a special opportunity for Parag because he captain of the team in his hometown and he even received the strongest joy of the day of the treating crowd. During the KKR sleeves, a fan raised the security and run on the ground to touch the feet of Parag and hug him. Parag was a little surprised by the gesture and although the incident led to a slight delay in the procedure, the fan was quickly escorted out of the field by the security personnel.
It was the second time that such an incident has been held during the 2025 IPL after a fan invaded the field to meet Virat Kohli at the opening of the season at the Gardens of Eden in Kolkata.

Coming to the match, Quinton de Kock struck a magnificent 97 not on a sticky counter in Barsapara, anchoring the pursuit of the Kolkata Knight runners to perfection when they won a dominant victory in eight gates against the Royals of Rajasthan in their IPL Clash on Wednesday.
