In a daring casting movement, manufacturers of Border 2 announced that the newcomer Medha Rana will play opposite Varun Dhawan in the next drama of war. Supported by the T series and JP films, the film is planned for a release from the Republic weekend on January 23, 2026.

Border 2 is supported by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-series in association with JP Films. He promises a mixture of action, emotion and a tribute to the minds of Indian soldiers.
