MS Dhoni Eyes Redemption As Chennai Super Kings Take On Punjab Kings

The distinct lack of fire power in the death of the death of Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a sensitive area that the super Kings of Chennai need to attack before their IPL confrontation against the kings of Punjab in Mullanpur on Tuesday. In one of their worst departures for an IPL season, CSK has now finished a triple of defeats, while continuing. While the Kings of Punjab lost their previous match against the Royals of Rajasthan at home, but on the current form as well as on paper, the Shreyas Iyer team seems more well balanced than the CSK which is struggling with combination problems.
The presence of Dhoni in the back-end, which was once considered a boon, turns into a scourge for the “yellow brigade”.
But this is the aura of the man who plays his 18th IPL season (only one apart from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma), that no one in the CSK ranks can probably go to man and show him the mirror.
While the “Dhoni brand” still governs the hearts of CSK aficionados and joy is deafening when it enters the lawn, the game against Delhi’s capitals was certainly an alarm clock for its supporters that there is more in a team than their `Thala beloved ” and probably it is time to move on.
The opposition teams are now expecting to fight first and to somehow score something greater than 180 knowing that it would be a difficult task for CSK unless Shivam Dube does the fire.
Now Dube is a kind of muscular player and lacks a player and the chances of his success with his model will always be 50-50.
The greatness of Dhoni in all these years was his immaculate sense of synchronization, whether it is to offer goodbyes to the captain or to withdraw from the international game. Will he decide himself or wait for the boost? Dhoni being the same player and nobody at “Bell the Cat”, CSK is unusual disorder with a high level order.
“No, this is not my role to put an end to it. I have no idea. I just appreciate working with him. He is still going strong. I don’t even ask these days. You are the ones who ask (about retirement)”, the head coach Stephen Fleming has not even tried to make shots.
The match against Chahal could be interesting
Yuzvendra Chahal, the experienced faithful, will certainly play a key role against the super kings of Chennai while he benefits from a favorable match against his former captain of India.
Chahal and Dhoni were opposed to each other 10 times in various IPL games and the Bowler Haryana rejected legend five times.
For the kings of Punjab, the Iyer skipper and the shape of the young Nehal Wadhera keeps them prominently.
