The parents of MS Dhoni, Pan Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi, were present on Saturday at the Ma Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. There have been discussions on Dhoni leading the CSK if the regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad did not get back on time on his elbow unprotected against the Royals of Rajasthan in Gowahati last Sunday.

However, Gaikwad walking for the draw excluded such a nostalgic journey to a few days of glory.
