The captain of Sri Lanka Charith Asalanka and the corridor in England Richard Gleeson as replacements for Will Jacks, Corbin Bosch and Ryan Rickelton, who will leave for national functions, in accordance with the IPL Media Advisory. Jacks had returned to India before the last two MI games in two stages, but will not be available for the conclusion of the season due to the international function. With the ODI England series against the Antilles from May 29, face the KO phase.
Rickelton, as well as his compatriot Corbin Bosch, should miss the playoffs, with a cricket in South Africa asking members of their final test of the world testing championship to return home on May 27, according to Espncricinfo.

Jonny Bairstow was an integral part of the England team which won the ODI World Cup in 2019. Bairstow has a total of 287 ceilings for England. Bairstow played 50 IPL games in five seasons, after playing for the Punjab Kings (2022 and 2024) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2019-21).

Charith Asalanka is currently the captain of Sri Lanka in the ODI and T20i formats and represented the country 134 times in international cricket. In T20is, the Sri Lankan skipper made 1247 in 58 games with an average of 24.45 and a strike of 128.55.
Richard Gleeson, 37, played in six T20is for England and is known for his prowess in the Overs of Death. He made his IPL debut last year, playing two games for Chennai Super Kings.
Before their last two stage matches against the Capitals of Delhi (May 21) and the Punjab Kings (May 26), MI is currently ranked fourth in the points ranking with seven victories and five defeats.
