The star of the reality show Nikki Tamboli spoke of his unexpected release from Celebrity Masterchef, revealing details on an altercation with the actor of Anupama Gaurav Khanna who led to his departure. The actress alleged that Khanna’s actions on the set were disrespectful and crossed a line that she did not want to tolerate.

The incident would have taken place during a kitchen challenge where candidates had to follow strict directives, in particular by avoiding food waste. According to Tamboli, Khanna ignored the director’s instructions and threw peels on the carrot on her face, which she found very disrespectful. The confrontation intensified while Tamboli refused to accept such behavior, which led to its decision to leave the show.
In an exclusive declaration to Etimes, Nikki Tamboli detailed the initial incident, saying: “He threw peels on the carrots on my face! Although he was clearly educated by the director not to waste food. I have always been to take a stand for myself, and I could not ignore this. Such behavior in a competitive setting where rules and discipline count.”
For the UNversed, the incident occurred during a challenge where Gaurav managed to obtain a two -hour cooking advantage, while others, including Nikki, had between 90 and 55 minutes. While he was starting to work on his dish, the competitors teased him to spend an additional time just for Aloo Puri. Gaurav threw them carrot peels, but Nikki found him disrespectful and storm, demanding excuses before returning. However, Gaurav did not pay any attention, and after a certain time, Nikki decided to join the challenge, determined to prove himself through his kitchen.
However, Nikki then made a dramatic return to Celebrity Masterchef, determined to prove himself through her kitchen. His dedication has borne fruit when the judges, including chief Kunal Kapur and Farah Khan, praised his dish. In the end, Nikki won the challenge and secured the coveted white apron.
