The PCB on Saturday strongly denounced the alleged use of inappropriate remarks against the Pakistani players by a group of Afghan spectators during the third Odi against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui on Saturday. Two spectators of origin of Afghanistan were then ejected from the ground following the complaint of the Pakistani team. Pakistan lost the 43-point match to undergo a 0-3 brush in the one-day series. The tourists had lost the T20 series at five games 1-4.
Later, several social media users published an image of Khusdil Shah chosen by security while he was in charge of the spectators.
“When anti-Pakistan slogans emerged, the cricket player Khushdil Shah intervened and urged spectators to refrain. In response, Afghan spectators degenerated the situation using an additional inappropriate language in the Pachto,” Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.
In the past, there have been incidents of clashes between Pakistani and Afghan spectators on different reasons when the two countries have played against each other.

We can remember that Ibrahim Zadran had used the presentation ceremony of the World Cup match in 2023 against Pakistan to denounce the expulsion of his compatriots by Pakistan.
The PCB also released the concern of the physical condition surrounding the Opener Imam-ul-Haq. The Imam had retired after having suffered a blow on his face, caused by an accidental launch of a New Zealand defensive player during the third above the Pakistan race race.
He suffered a computed tomography at the Tauranga hospital and received a diagnosis of a slight concussion. However, he was declared fit to go home with the team.
