Pakistan was sentenced to a fine of 10% of its match costs for having maintained an exaggerated slow pace in the first international international against New Zealand in Napier on Saturday. “Jeff Crowe of the Elite Panel ICC of match referees imposed the penalty after the Mohammad Rizwan team was tried by two overs of the objective after time allowances were taken into consideration,” the ICC said in a statement on Tuesday. In accordance with article 2.22 of the CPI driving code for players and players’ support staff, which concerns minimum offenses on the pace, players are sentenced to a fine of five percent of their match costs for each side on their side do not manage to play in the allocated time.

Rizwan pleaded guilty to the offense and accepted the proposed sanction, so there was no need for an official hearing. The referees on the ground Chris Brown and Paul Reiffel, the third referee Michael Gough and the fourth Wayne Knights referee leveled the charge.

Mark Chapman scored a record of 132 career balls 111 to guide New Zealand towards a 73-point victory in the first ODI at McLean Park. The masterful blow of the left -hander, combined with the gravelly 76 of Daryl Mitchell and a first record of Fifty of Muhammad Abbas, the fastest by a striker during the beginnings, saw the hosts display an imposing 344.

Pakistan, for a large part of their prosecution, seemed to be on the right track to revise the target. Fluent 78 of Babar Azam and Fifty from Salman Agha put them in the dominant position, but a dramatic collapse allowed them to lose seven counters for only 22 points, going from 249 for 3 to 271 all.

Meanwhile, New Zealand will be without Chapman for the second ODI in Hamilton on Wednesday due to a right-wing injury. He underwent the injury when setting up the first Napier ODI, and a subsequent MRI revealed a grade one tear, which will require a short period of rehabilitation.

The Tim Seifert upper order will replace Chapman in the Hamilton team. He joined the team at the rear of a memorable T20I series against Pakistan, where he exceeded the list of points with 249 points, with an average of 62.
