PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen To Lead India In Badminton Asia Mixed Championship In China

The Olympic medalist Double PV Sindhu and the winner of the World Championships Lakshya Sen will head an Indian team of 14 members for the mixed team of Badminton Asia Chammpionship which will be held in Qingdao, China from February 11 to 16. India had won a bronze medal in the last edition of the competition in Dubai in 2023. “The national selectors gave importance to the world ranking and to the current form of players while selecting the team that will have the players of SS Prannoy and Malvika respectively, the second version said respectively.

The strong Indian team will also have star players double the Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty players. The pairing of female doubles could be Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly or Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto.

Tanisha will also join Dhruv Kapila in a mixed double while Sathish Kumar K and Adya Variyath will be the second combination.
