It is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and has an envious star casting including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Another factor that is attractive about this film is that his first Bhansali film in 26 years, which will be shot abroad.

A source told Bollywood Hungama“Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making large and visually spectacular films. However, he did not go abroad for the same thing for his films like Devdas (2002), Black (2005), Saawariya (2007), Guzaarish (2010), Goliyon ki raasleela ram-leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018) and Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). Hmm Dil of Chuke Sanam (1998) was the last film for which he traveled abroad, in Hungary (represented in the film like Italy), to shoot a crucial sequence of the second half. »»
The source continued: “But for Love and warThere is a requirement for a foreign location. Consequently, the filmmaker went to Rome, Italy, for a recreation earlier this month. The film should be shot in the Italian capital and perhaps, a few other places in Europe, later this year. »»
According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will run large confrontation sequences between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal this month. The report also indicated that around 100 days of shooting were completed until July and 90 days of more shooting.
Love and war should be published on March 20, 2026 on Ramzan EID. He gathered Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Ranbir Kapoor after almost 18 years. Ranbir made his debut in the SLB Saawariya. Meanwhile, Alia had worked with the successful director in her latest film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. As for Vicky Kaushal, this is his first outing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
