“Rohit Sharma’s Days As Test Opener Were Over”: Ex-India Star’s Sensational Claim

India’s former striker, Sanjay Manjrekar, made a massive complaint on social networks, a few days after the star player Rohit Sharma called time in his test career. Manjrekar went to X, formerly Twitter, to underline the recent performance of Rohit, which served as an opening striker for India in the format for about six years before calling it. The right -handed striker, who remains active in ODI Cricket, had a bad race recently in tests. By focusing on this performance, Manjrekar said that “Rohit days as a test opener were finished”.
“164 in its last 15 rounds. 10 of which were at home against Bangladesh and NZ. 10.9 on average. With its current fitness levels … The days of Rohit Sharma as the first test match were finished. So …”, wrote Manjrekar on X.

Rohit was raised to the role of Indian opening in test cricket in October 2019 and has never watched since then.
Rohit, who is the captain of the ODI of India, congratulated the armed forces to stand on the front line and urged citizens to refrain from spreading or believing all false news in the middle of climbing military tensions between India and Pakistan.
Pakistan launched air attacks against Jammu on Thursday, as well as several military stations near the western border, but they were successfully thwarted by India’s air defense systems.
Several athletes went to social networks to express their support for the Indian armed forces to thwart attacks and Rohit is the last to join the national tribute to the Indian armed forces.
By taking to X, Rohit wrote: “With each passing moment, with each decision made, I feel extremely proud of our Indian army, our Indian air force and our Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing for the pride of our nation. It is important for each Indian to be responsible and to refrain from spreading or believing all false news. Stay safe, everyone!”
The attempted strike, involving drones and missiles, sparked power outages and sirens in several areas of Jammu-et-Cachemire, Punjab and Rajasthan. The attacks seem to be in retaliation for “ Sindoor ‘operation’ ‘by the Indian armed forces on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, hence the attack on tourists from Pahalgam was planned, which killed 26 tourists – 25 Indians and a Nepalese citizen.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Kings of Punjab and the Capitals of Delhi in Dharamshala was also canceled as a precautionary measure due to Panus breakdowns in many regions of the country. The season was suspended later for a week.
