Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, better known to direct the blockbuster Dabanggg (2010), made explosive comments on his work experience with Salman Khan. In a conversation with the Indian Express screen, Kashyap accused the actor of lacking commitment to his profession and described him as “vindictive” and “bad”.

Kashyap, who had collaborated with Khan on the first episode of Dabanggg Franchise, “said:” Salman is never involved. He is not even interested in acting, and he has not been for the past 25 years. Salman Badtameez Hai, Ganda Insaan Hai (Salman is poorly raised, it’s a bad person). He has been a family of films that has been in the industry for 50 years. He continues the process. They are vindictive people. They control the entire process. If you do not agree with them, they come after you.
“Anurag also faced the same thing”
The director also alleged that his brother, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, had faced similar challenges while working on Tere naam (2003). “Anurag already told me Dabanggg That you will not be able to make a film with Salman. He just didn’t explain in detail why. He just thought that I would be easily victim of intimidation, he knows these vultures. Anurag finally left the film. He wrote the script of Tere Naam. Boney Kapoor behaved badly with him, then he left him. They also did not give him credit. Interestingly, in 2023, Anurag Kashyap himself had revealed during an appearance on Unfiltred by Samdish that he had been withdrawn from a project because of his frank advice from a star. At the time, he said: “I was thrown out of a film because I asked the hero not to impress his chest.”
