The highly anticipated war drama Battle of GalwanWith Salman Khan as Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, should launch cameras in Ladakh later this month, jumping his calendar originally in Mumbai. Earlier, it was reported that an elaborate set was under construction in Mehboob studios in Bandra for the first stage of filming the adventure of Director of Apoorva Lakhia. However, production plans have now changed. According to some information, the film will start its shooting in Ladakh from August 22 to September 3, Mumbai’s leg has been postponed indefinitely.

Creative call behind the change
Midi cited an initiate saying: “It is a creative decision. Manufacturers want to start directly with the action scenes. In addition, Salman features a distinct aspect, and for continuity, there could not be a 30 -day gap between Mumbai and Ladakh stays. APOORVA thought that the sequences should be killed. ”
The report has also added that the Bandra set, which had been prepared for the initial shooting, is now dismantled. That sequences – such as a song or patchwork – will eventually be filmed in Mumbai will be decided during the final phase of the project.
Battle of Galwan will represent the Indian-China military shock which occurred in June 2020. Salman Khan will represent Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, the commander of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra in 2021 for his bravery during the confrontation.
