Shreyas Talpade accused in Rs 100 crore ponzi scam in Uttar Pradesh, FIR filed : Bollywood News
Shreyas Talpade, as well as 14 others, were involved in a case of major fraud in the Mahoba district of the Uttar Pradesh. The allegations involve the Dupage of the Villagers of Rupes of Rupes thanks to a deceived chit fund program.

The accused were reportedly associated with “The Loni Urban Multistate Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society Limited”, a company that targeted rural investors with high promises of returns. The agents of the company would have assured the villagers that their investments would double in a short period, which would lead to hundreds of investing substantial amounts. However, after having collected without distrust villagers, the company suddenly ceased its operations and its representatives have disappeared.
The fraudulent activities were underway in Mahoba for almost a decade before taking a legal exam. The authorities recorded a case at the Srinagar police station, launching an investigation to discover the full scam. Other actions will be determined according to the results of this probe.
This incident adds to the legal problems of Talpade. In February, a FIR was filed against him and the veteran actor Alok Nath in the Uttar Pradesh for having allegedly defrauded investors over 9 crores. The case was filed with the Gomti Nagar police station in Lucknow. In addition, the two actors, as well as others, were involved in a several level marketing scam in Sonipat, Haryana.
Loni Urban Urban Multi-State Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society has been examined for similar fraudulent activities in other regions. In Uttarakhand, the company would have operated 35 unauthorized branches, fraud investors of around 92 crores of ₹ by promising high yields. Uttarakhand police arrested five people as part of this program.
