Sunrisers captain Hyderabad, Pat Cummins, does not lose sleep for consecutive losses after their explosive start for IPL 2025, insisting that he is “too early to worry”. “You have to hear yourself with your game. You cannot easily take a game, there are 10 good teams while playing. We have to focus on our plans and our processes. Today we have managed to do it.
“The plan was to give Starc two overs at the start and two overs at the end, but it was in good pace. Therefore, I gave him the third and he was able to choose an important window,” he said, explaining the justification behind giving a longer Starc spell.
“We have experienced players in the team, they give me suggestions. Sometimes I follow them. Loved to play with these players. We have been playing Kotla for many years, we will have similar plans. We have to assess the conditions after going.”
