Struggling DC Take On Formidable GT In Reverse Leg IPL 2025 Game

Shaken by the steep suspension of their previous match due to the India-Pakistan conflict, Delhi’s capital in difficulty will seek to come together and respond to the concerns of the bowling when they face the Titans of Gujarat de Table in a low IPL at Delhi confrontation on Sunday to keep their hopes in living room playoffs. If three defeats and a non-result because of the rain in their last five games were not sufficient, the previous DC match was canceled halfway after air alerts in neighboring alerts Jammu and Pathankot, causing a week’s league suspension.
Although the tournament has resumed, several players abroad did not return to complete their commitments, forcing franchises to make major adjustments to their teams.
DC, currently just outside the top four with 13 points of 11 games, underwent a major setback with the first slow motion Mitchell Starc deciding not to come back for the rest of the season. Armer on Australian left is the main team of the team with 14 camarapes, and his absence is an important blow for the hopes of the already thin DC qualifiers.
In a little relief, the capital managed to guarantee the rhythm services of Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman, who obtained the “certificate without objection” from his national council on Friday.
An IPL activist experienced with 38 counters in an economy of 7.84 in as many games, Mustafizur should lead an attack in difficulty against a heavy GT range in the stick.
The team led by Axar Patel endured a disappointing home race, managing only one victory – that also via a super plus – at the Arun Jaitley stadium this season.
When the two teams met for the last time on April 19, DC was blown away by the 97 Jos Buttler balls, while GT chased a total of more than 200 in total to win by seven counters.
DC problems are only aggravated during recent outings. Their superior and intermediate order collapsed against Sunrisers Hyderabad in a touchdown match, while their quisors were hammered by Punjab Kings, who ran to 122 for one in 10.1 overs before the match in Dharamsala.
The rhythm attack, including Dushmantha Chameera and Mukesh Kumar, had trouble delivering, which makes the role of Mustafizur by providing precocious breakthroughs all the more crucial, in particular against the first command of GT.
The shot unit was also incoherent. During their last outing completed, DC was reduced to 29 for five by SRH on May 5. They could not beat in the Dharamsala match.
The return of the FAF veteran opener of Plessis is a boost for DC, who hopes that the first order – including Abishek Porel and Karun Nair – can put their recent difficulties behind and shoot GT.
DC had experienced Nair as a surgery, but the move turned against him because he was dismissed for a duck against SRH. From Plessis and Porel also failed to convert departures into substantial scores.
KL Rahul, the team’s top scorer this season, will have a crucial role in playing with the skipper Axar. If the duo can lay a solid base, people like Tristan Stubbs, Vipraj Nigam and Ashutosh Sharma can provide the end of death in the overs of death.
GT, comfortably perched at the top of the table with 16 points of 11 games, were a well -oiled unit this season.
Jos Buttler and the South African stimulator Kagiso Rabada joined the team, although the Englishman is not available for the last GT championship match against Chennai Super Kings because of the national service.
Shubman Gill, B Sai Sudharsan and Buttler have formed a great superior order, all crossing the 500 -point brand this season. Their constant score at high strike rates noted that the intermediate order of GT remained largely not tested, except Sherfane Rutherford.
DC will have to strike early to expose this intermediate order and stop GT’s momentum.
GT’s bowling unit equaled its shine to the stick. Prasidh Krishna leads the IPL counter graphics with 20 Camarapes, while Mohammed Siraj (15 counters) and the left arm spinner R Sai Kishore (14) also delivered in a consistent manner, making GT a hard nut to crack on both fronts.
