The dispute concerns the two children of Karisma, Samaira and Kiaan, who filed a civil action before the High Court of Delhi alleging that their mother-in-law, Priya Sachdev Kapur, tried to forge the will of Sunjay Kapur. Children are looking for a complete disclosure of assets belonging to their father.
Speaking with Ani, Mandhira expressed her satisfaction with the participation of the Court in the case, in particular the order which directed Priya Kapur to reveal all the mobile and irremovable assets belonging to Sunjay Kapur from his death on June 12, 2025. “

PRIYA KAPUR representative, the main lawyer Rajiv Nayar challenged the validity of the prosecution, arguing that the case filed against it is “not maintained”.
Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur got married in 2003 and had two children. They divorced by mutual consent in 2016. Sunjay then married Priya Sachdev. He died in a polo game in England on June 12, 2025.
As the procedure continues, the case seems to set up important precedents concerning the transparency of successions, the rights of children and the testaments disputed in the legal system of India.
