According to a report of PinkvillaSunny Deol teams up with Excel Entertainment for the very first time for a large -scale action film. The project, always without title, will be led by Balaji, which will make its debut as director after years of work as assistant and associate director on several Tamil superproductions.
A source close to development revealed: “Sunny Deol should team up with Excel Entertainment for the first time on a big budget action thriller.” The talks between the actor and the production house were underway, and the two parties are now officially on board.
The source has also added: “The action thriller still unit will mark the first collaboration between Sunny Deol and Excel Entertainment. The two stakeholders have been in talks for some time now, and are delighted to collaborate on a high -level big budget action thriller.
The beginnings of director of Balaji would present Sunny Deol in a powerful avatar and focused on the action, a space with which the actor is closely associated. The production team aims to offer a worthy experience filled with high dramas and intense action sequences.
“It is a larger feature film with Sunny Deol in an avatar in which the public loves to see it. Excel also takes place to ensure that his young collaboration with Sunny turns out to be a special treat for the cinema public, with a lot of intense and high dramatic moments,” said the source.
The action thriller is expected to start filming in December 2025 and will join the growing list of high level productions by Excel Entertainment. In the meantime, their upcoming project 120 Bahadur—Produced in collaboration with Trigger Happy Studios – will serve as a tribute to the unknown heroes of Indian history.
