Trinamool ex MP Mimi Chakraborty, Urvashi Rautela summoned by ED in 1xbet betting app investigation : Bollywood News
The Directorate of the Application of the Act (ED) published summons to the former deputy and actor of Trinamool Mimi Chakraborty and Urvashi Rautela as part of his investigation into the alleged illegal operations of the online Paris BetBet, according to a report by NDTV.

Chakraborty was invited to appear on Monday at Delhi emergency headquarters, while Rauutela has to report a day later on Tuesday.
This development is part of an underway investigation into several Paris applications accused of frauding a large number of people and investors of rupees of rupees, and to escape substantial taxes.
More specifically, Chakraborty should be questioned about his alleged ties with 1xbet, which is under control for a possible money laundering and tax evasion. ED investigators have already questioned several cricket actors and players in connection with the case, including the cricket player Suresh Raina.
Meanwhile, government sources claim that the real game and online betting market has increased regulatory pressure. The government of the Union recently introduced legislation prohibiting such games, while it revealed to Parliament that between 2022 and June 2025, it made 1,524 orders to block the online gaming and Paris platforms.
Analysts estimate that there are about 22 Indian user crores from various online betting applications, of which about 11 -crores are regular users. They say that the sector is estimated at more than 100 billion USD, increasing at a rate of approximately 30% per year.
