Who Is Zeeshan Ansari: Rishabh Pant’s U-19 Teammate Who Took 3 Wickets On IPL Debut For SRH

Zeeshan Ansari had a brilliant outing in his early days while the Leg Spinner made three counters for his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2025 IPL match against the Capitals of Delhi on Sunday. The Uttar Pradesh launcher was included in the team in place of the Simarjeet Singh stimulator and although SRH was unable to win, Ansari impressed everyone with his bowling alley. Ansari, who was bought for Rs 40 Lakh in the mega auction, took the Faf du Plessis counter in his second before rejecting Jake Fraser-McGurk in the same thing. He also took the KL Rahul counter.

The 25-year-old was part of the U-19 Indian cricket team with Rishabh Pant. However, he does not have much experience with regard to the shortest format of sport.

Zeeshan only played one match for the Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy where he conceded 32 points in four overs and did not take a single window. However, in first class cricket, he has 17 counters.

Zeeshan was quite impressive in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League where he became the best counters. He took 24 counters in 12 games to win the title of Meerut Mavericks.

Coming to the match, the Mitchell Starc’s five -seek transport has propelled Delhi’s capital to a victory commanding seven counters against Sunrisers Hyderabad, marking his second successive IPL victory on Sunday.

By opting to beat, SRH fell to 163 in 18.4 Overs despite the brilliant 74 unantext balls of Aniket Verma and the 32 of Heinrich Klaasen 19. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 for 22.

The Australian left arm quickly cleaned the tail, taking two counters in three bullets in the 19th.

In response, the DC directed by Axar Patel chased the target in just 16 overs, thanks to the start of blisters by FAF du Plessis (50 OFF 27) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (38 OFF 32).
