IPL 2025 – Nitish Kumar Reddy cleared to join SRH squad after recovering from side strain

Nitish Kumar Reddy was authorized by the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru to appear in IPL 2025. Nitish should connect with the SRH team in their avant-tournoi camp, which begins on Sunday.

A Yo-Yo test on Saturday morning was the last box that Nitish had to check before returning to the action after crossing the usual recovery procedure for a lateral tension that he picked up during the T20I series against England last month. His score was 18.1; The pass score is 16.5.

On Friday, Nitish presented a training match, where he was understood that he made a boost without any discomfort. The BCCI medical panel had manipulated Nitish with caution because it remains at the heart of the test plans of the Indian team management, with a tour in England to follow shortly after the end of the IPL season in late May. Its rehabilitation took a fortnight more than the three weeks originally planned.

Nitish was one of the five players that SRH kept in front of the mega auction following a 2024 season in 8024 where he made 303 points at a striking rate of 142.92. His bowling alley was not as impressive because he picked up three counters and conceded races at 11.62.

Nitish then made his international debut in the T20I series at home against Bangladesh. His stocks increased more when he appeared in the five tests of the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Australia, his first century of test in Melbourne being the highest point.

After the tour, Nitish had expressed his opinion to work with Bharat Arun, the former Bowling coach of India, in Chennai. This movement, however, did not materialize due to the lateral tension.
