The dismissal of Washington Sundar sparked massive controversy during the 2025 match IPL between the Titans of Gujarat and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Washington looked in a brilliant shape as he dominated SRH quises, but he was finally dismissed for 49 by Mohammed Shami. During the 14th above the GT sleeves, Washington slammed a Shami length ball to the cover of Sweeper and Aniket Verma ended up taking a brilliant socket. However, the arbitrators were not convinced if he collected it properly or not. They decided to do an exam and although some reeplaying suggested that the ball was able to touch the ground, the third referee reigned against the striker. The dismissal led to a massive discussion on social networks with several users criticizing the decision.

The skipper Shubman Gill gave the example with half a chic half after Mohammed Siraj played with fire in his belly to return excellent 4/17 figures while the Gujarat titans crushed the Hyderabad Sunrisers by seven counters in their IPL match on Sunday.

Bowling first, GT has limited shr at 152 for eight with the left arm spinner R Sai Kishore (2/24) and Couturier Prasidh Krishna (2/25) too efficiently admirably on a slow surface.
Mohammed Shami (28/28) and Pat Cummins (1/26) brought SRH back in the contest with their first strikes while GT found himself in a Tricky 16 for two in the fourth.
