Atalanta’s place at the Champions League A position of Serie A is threatened after their original Hoodoo continued with the 1-0 Sunday defeat against the best four hopes of Lazio. The candidates for a first championship title only a few weeks ago, a third consecutive defeat left Atalanta, third, looking over their shoulders in a pocket of teams which chained for a place in the Europe Elite Club competition.
