Jake Paul Goes Easy On Mike Tyson, Bows Down To Him Midmatch In A Heartwarming Gesture

The truck confrontation test between the big Mike Tyson and the American Youtuber Jake Paul may have ended with disappointment for Tyson, but a little gesture of Paul won many hearts. Paul dominated the case in eight laps, but apparently did not extend to Tyson, 58, who had fought his first professional boxing match after almost 20 years. In the last seconds of the final round, Paul rather chose to make respect to Tyson, bowing in front of the former world heavyweight champion.

The moment assured that the competition – which was heated after Tyson gulling Jake Paul before the match – ended in a comforting manner.

“It was an honor to be in the ring with him. I was trying to hurt him but I was afraid that he was going to hurt me. I did my best,” said Paul after the fight.

At its peak, Tyson was one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world, being the world’s undisputed world heavyweight champion between 1987 and 1990. After the fight, Paul praised Tyson as “G.OA.T.” (The greatest of all time).

The event commentator had declared before the fight that Tyson was an idol of Jake Paul’s father.

The match, which was counted in the professional boxing record of the two, was won by Paul after being unanimously declared the winner by the three judges. The judges marked Paul 80-72. 79-73 and 79-73 respectively.

Many had criticized the fact that Tyson had returned to boxing at the age of 58, fearing that the fight against Paul, 27 years old, did physical difficulty in the body of Tyson. However, Tyson made allegations that money was his only reason.

“You have a youtuber who has 70 million fans. And I’m the biggest fighter since the start of life, so what does that make an explosion of excitement,” said Tyson to interview the magazine before the match.
