Punjab Kings’ Rs 3.8 Crore Star Opens Up On Mindset While Facing CSK Bowlers




The Punjab Kings beat Chennai Super Kings by 18 points in their 2025 IPL match Tuesday in Mullanpur. By opting for Bat, PBKS posted a huge total of 219/6 in 20 Overs, then continued to limit the CSK to 201/5. It was the third victory in four games for the team led by Shreyas Iyer and the biggest credit for the victory goes to the young opener Priyansh Arya, who broke several records with his century. The 24 -year -old striker was standing against CSK’s quasses and hammered 103 out of only 42 bullets.

Arya opened the procedure, alongside Prabhsimran Singh, who left for Duck in the second. Later, the counters continued to fall, but Priyansh remained firm and played his photos without fear to reach the triple characters.

The opener started the sleeves with a monstrous six during the first delivery of Khaleel Ahmed. During the second delivery, he was almost trapped and gave Khaleel a catch, but the pacement missed the opportunity and Priyansh remained alive to hit a ton.

While speaking of his state of mind after having survived the tight call, Priyansh said that he had remained confident to reach other limits.

“My confidence did not even shake a little. It rather motivated me to do better and to attack all the balls that arrived in slots. The removal of a catch is nothing new.

The match between CSK and PBKS was a servicing disaster, because eight total catches were abandoned on both sides.

Before this century against CSK, Arya entered the match on his back to be hunted by the burning rhythm of Jofra Archer on the first ball in the pbks pbing, because they finally failed by 50 points to the Royals of Rajasthan. He revealed a continuous conversation with head coach Ricky Ponting and Captain Shreyas Iyer gave him positive vibrations before leaving to attack the CSK quieurs.

“My state of mind was positive because when I released on the first ball (against RR), I didn’t think much.

“He told me that if I get the same ball in the next match (against CSK), I should hit him from the ground, and I was very confident after hearing this. I thought that if I received the first ball, I will hit him, according to my instinct and not defend. Shreyas Bhaiya told me to play on my instinct, because it would be better for me, and that helped me a lot.

PBKS will now face Sunrisers Hyderabad for their next IPL 2025 match on Saturday in Hyderabad.
