All Well? Sanju Samson Gives Rahul Dravid’s RR Team Huddle A Miss. Video Viral As Internet Says: “Rift Within…”

Sanju Samson, captain of Rajasthan Royals, made the headlines. The Star ticket office recently had to retire after marking a quick shot 31 out of only 19 balls in an IPL 2025 match against Delhi’s capital on Wednesday. The match was won by Delhi Capital in the Super Over, after the two teams were tied at 188 after the 20 stipulated overtime. In the Super Over, RR left the Nitish Rana in shape aside (which scored 51 out of 28 balls) and rather sent Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag.
Now, a video, which was published by a social media user, becomes viral where match images show the management of the Senior team of RR, including the head coach Rahul Dravid, Sairaj Bahutule in a team before the Super. Samson can be seen in the same video, but he does not give himself up to anyone. Although this may be a case of Captain RR stretching or being immersed in his thoughts, several social media users wondered if there was a gap in the team. In the team, a player can be seen say something to Samson but he walks away.
I knew there was definitely a flaw in the configuration when there was absolutely no discussion or chat in the canoe before the super. https://t.co/dfxmlwgbg pic.twitter.com/688ji3mxrs

Is that the reason why their players never celebrate a counter, in particular these Hetmyer catch the border?

I believe that the problems started from the table of the auctions itself. I don’t think Sanju was satisfied with the decision to let Butler go.

At least, Sanju would have said a word or two in front of him instead of showing a gesture of the hand while walking away.

It would have been planned that Nitish Rana was one of the choices of Royals of Rajasthan (RR) for the first Super Plus IPL 2025 against the capitals of Delhi at the Arun Jaitley stadium on Wednesday evening.
But to everyone’s surprise, despite the fluidity of 51 balls of 28 bullets, Rana was not sent, because RR preferred Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, then Yashasvi Jaiswal in the decision maker at a point. It was a decision that did not bear fruit because RR only made 11 points out of five bullets, including the Runs-Outs on the last two bullets.
At the end of the dramatic game, Rana said that all calls for decision -making on the field were in the hands of the team management. “It is never a person’s decision. It is always management and support staff, as they can discuss and make a decision on these things. I think that if this result was in our favor, the question would have been different. So, this cricket game is a game focused on results.
“Management is the one that decides. There are two senior players and the captain. I think this decision was good. If Hetmyer had struck two six, you would not have asked the same question.
“Hetmyer is our finisher. Everyone knows it, and he has delivered in the past. There are a lot of things that we could have tightened a little more, and the game on an equal race of this race should not have happened. But that is the result,” said Rana at the post-match press conference.
