The latest version of Sunny Deol Jaat was in the news not only for its script full of action and its patriotic fervor, but also for a scene that has aroused strong criticism from the members of the Christian community. The controversy revolved around a particular sequence featuring the villain of the film played by Randeep Hooda in a church, which certain viewers of the Christian community found offensive and disrespectful towards their religious feelings.

After the growing tumult, manufacturers of Jaat acted quickly to respond to concerns. In an official statement, the team clarified its position and confirmed that the scene had been withdrawn from all versions of the film.
The manufacturers said in an official statement: “There was a reaction for a specific scene in the film. The scene was removed from the film with immediate effect. Our intention was not to hurt religious feelings. We regret it deeply and we have taken a quick action to remove the film scene. We sincerely apologize to all the beliefs whose beliefs have been injured. ”
The controversy had started to gain ground on social networks shortly after the release of the film, with several eminent voices of the Christian community demanding apologies and public action.
Directed by Gopichandh Malineni, Jaat Stars also Saiyami Kher, Viineet Kumar Singh, Regna Cassandrra, among others. The film won on Rs. 60 Box-Office from India during its first prolonged week.
