Rajkummar Rao is currently preparing for his next romantic comedy Bhool chuk maafCo-Awn Wamiqa Gabbi, who is expected to go out in theaters on May 9. Meanwhile, reports suggest that he is in talks to play the leading prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam in a next biopic. This news comes after Aamir Khan would have withdrawn the main role.

According to midday, sources have revealed: “Dinesh wishes to make Rajkummar Nikam play. It brings the right intensity and the right beach to this role. The preliminary talks were positive, but Raj is immersed in the preparation for the Vikramithya scenario.
The source added: “It would always be a convincing audience drama with a political political current, but now the team explores a more grumpy and more anchored treatment which corresponds more to the style of Raj, if it comes on board.”
Earlier, Pinkvilla reported that “Aamir was presented to the trip of Ujjwal Nikam in the pre-Pandemic era and he was interested in bringing him since the show since then. There have been several drafts of scripts written by several producer partners, but after all discussions, Aamir is now on the penis of his association with Dinesh Vijan on the Ujjwal Nikam Biopic. While Amir was originally to play in the film, he will now be involved only as a producer.
The source also said: “The idea is to take it on floors in 2024 and casting calls should take place from the end of the year. While AMIR definitively planned to direct the biopic itself, we cannot say if it is a film with Aamir Khan or a production with another actor who intervenes to play lead at that time. “
