The event became chaotic when some students launched stones and bottles on the stage. Despite the disruption, Nigam remained composed and urged the public to maintain respect.

Addressing the crowd, Sonu Nigam said: “Main Aapke Liye Aaya Hun Yahan Pe so that we can all have a good time. I don’t ask you not to take advantage of it, but please Aisa Na Kariye.”
Sonu Nigam’s request aimed to restore order and ensure the safety of people on stage. However, the situation intensified when some of the members of his team were injured in chaos. With more than one Lakh of the participants, the incident raised concerns about the control of crowds during major university festivals.
In February, Sonu Nigam faced another number linked to the crowd during his concert in Kolkata. The singer became visibly frustrated when some public members got up during his performance. A video of him that strictly educates them to sit has become viral on social networks. Losing his patience, we heard him say that if people wanted to stand up, they should do it during an election instead.
