Reason Behind Rajasthan Royals Match-Fixing Allegations, Report Reveals ‘Ticket Demands’ Twist

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) retaliated with a strongly common letter following allegations of match match made by Jaydeep Bihani of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). After RR’s narrow defeats against Delhi’s capital and Lucknow’s Super Giants – who both produced despite the fact that the team was able to switch to victory – RR has now been accused of match. Although the franchise has categorically opposed any accusation, a recent report said that the main reason behind the RCA comments could be the sale of tickets.
According to a report of The time of IndiaThe RCA received fewer tickets during IPL 2025 than they usually get, which could be the deep cause of their dissatisfaction.
According to the report, the RCA would generally receive approximately 1,800 tickets per match by the Royals Rajasthan, but this number was considerably reduced in 2025. The RCA would now have given around 1,000 to 1,200 tickets per game.
“At the start of the season, the BCCI gave us a clear directive that, as the RCA is dissolved, we would deal with the Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) for all arrangements,” said an RR initiate, in accordance with the report.
“The dissatisfied member of the ad hoc RCA committee and his associates require an exorbitant quantity of tickets, and we do not divert them. This is the only reason behind this drama,” added the initiate.
While the Royals of Rajasthan have already denied the allegations formulated by Bihani, now a BCCI official would also have spoken against the RCA.
“The RCA is currently dissolved. An ad hoc committee has been trained, and with the approaching elections, there is a lot of drama. Everyone wants attention. The BCCI has an anti-corruption unit that works 24×7 to keep the bad elements far from the game.
RR management has strongly opposed these assertions, declaring: “We reject all the allegations made by the head of the ad hoc committee. Such public declarations are not only misleading, but have caused serious damage to the reputation and credibility of Rajasthan Royals, Royal Multi Sport Limited (RMPL), Rajasthan Sports Council, and BCCI.
The Royals of Rajasthan won only two games in their first eight, and have lost their two most recent games spectacularly, having failed to pursue 9 points in 6 balls twice.
